I do apologize for coming off brash but I was extremely let down and I would really appreciate some help and direction.
Sound blaster recon3di driver windows 10 error for windows 10#
I really need DTS and ASIO support for Windows 10 back, especially when Windows 10 is force feeding users updates and you should stop selling a card if you no longer support it on the up to date version of the OS version it's supposed to support. Sure, this could be Creative Microsoft back and forth but some updates to a card that is still actively sold would go a LONG way for your users. I've also not seen any recent updates about updated driver support posted on Reddit that I thought that I read users could expect. I read something about there being a beta driver available sometime around late May but I could not find it to save my life.

I understand that the card is 7 years old, but the reason I went back to Creative for an audio card/interface solution was the name brand, I could rely upon the brand in the past, it is still being sold, and there are still drivers on the support site that say Windows 10 on the download link. I tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling the drivers from the Creative web site, and 3/3 times my tower completely blue-screened on reinstall attempt.

I admit, I got extremely upset, and then after reading that since it had been longer than 10 days since the 1903 update hit, I could no longer roll back to 1809 or others. In disbelief, I fired up my DTS receiver, and I found that I was stuck in Stereo 2 channel world - and that I could no longer run the Sound Blaster Pro Studio app. Then, researching around today for a fix, I started reading that DTS was broken in the 1903 update. It actually broke the evening that me and my guys fired everything up. I had several musicians over to fire up some new projects yesterday and found that Creative ASIO was breaking on my music software (Reason 10.4, Komplete 12 Ultimate apps, FL Studio, etc.) every time I tried to switch to the Creative ASIO driver. I then decided to purchase the Sound Blaster Z ( ) that would fit the bill, and it seemed like it did. After several weeks of trying to get it to do everything I was looking for, I found that the Recon3Di is far more limited than I anticipated. My goal was to have optical DTS capability to my 5.1 receiver in my living room, as well as disable DTS to run Creative ASIO hardware support cable routed to the nearby room. I built several months ago a new rig at the forefront of my multi-room home recording studio with an Aorus motherboard/i7-8700k with integrated Sound Blaster Recon3Di. I've gone through many previous posts and comments, as well as the Creative support site, and I wanted to just post directly to mention where I'm at with my recently purchased Sound Blaster Z.
